Required Equipment:

• Instrument.  You will need to have a working violin, viola, or cello this year.  The school has limited instruments available for students who are in need.  Instruments can be purchased, or you set up a contract on instrument rental night, Thursday Aug 15 in the music room.
• Method book.   Students will be working from the Essential Elements Method book one. You are responsible for your own method book.
• Rosin.  Good quality rosin and a piece of soft fabric for cleaning rosin off the instrument is a MUST!  This can be purchased on instrument rental night.
• Shoulder Rest. Violin and Viola students will be required to have a shoulder rest for support.  Acceptable rests will be available for purchase on our Instrument Rental Night.​
• 1 FINE TIP, black dry-erase marker.
• 3 pencils-must be the sharpening kind
